No account, no ads, no profiles, no selling of data. This is everything that does happen.

On your own device

Settings, scores, groups and your supporter key live in your own browser's storage and never leave your device. Clear that storage and they are gone; there is no copy on our side, because there is no user database.

Playing online and sharing

For online play (Imposter) and for sharing your own word lists and decks we use a temporary, anonymous ID at our database provider Supabase. What is stored there is only what you type yourself: your name in a game room, the room code, votes, and the lists you share. A shared list can be revoked with one button; whoever opens the link after that gets nothing.

Visitor numbers

For visitor counts Cloudflare Web Analytics runs along: without cookies, without fingerprinting, and not traceable to you.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web server, it sees your IP address and browser type at the moment you request a page; that is needed to deliver the page and to counter abuse. We do not store that data ourselves.

Paying

If you become a supporter, payment runs through Stripe. Stripe asks for your email address and your payment details and keeps them to handle the payment; we never see your payment details. Your email address comes back once inside your supporter key, and that key stays on your own device.

Your rights

If you want to know what is stored about you, or want something removed, mail privacy@sofun.party. Since there are no accounts, that is usually done quickly.
